The Jury Is In

June6

I just got the news from the college – the Head of Adult Education wrote to me and stated the exclusion was against policy and procedure and I am indeed enrolled on the course.  However they have offered me a refund of the course fee and they said they will pay for me to complete the remaining course at another institute – hence still bullying and still excluding me.  There was no apology from the Lecturers but from the head of Education.  I will not write anything more for now as I need to reflect on this nonsense.  I have an interview tomorrow and I am looking forward to it I have to do a presentation on a set topic and an unseen test.  Think of me.

I'm a little bit country

June6

I am lovin’ this tune Dee beautiful.  I was bought up on country and western (and calypso) it’s like rice and peas in St Lucia.  So even if country and western music is on in the background I sway or dance without even realising it – it is in the unconscious – what am I like?

See Hear

June4

I am currently taking time out you know a break meanwhile studying, writing/journaling, reflecting and not working in a paid capacity.  There is so much to be learned about peoples attitudes when you are not working, unemployed or homeless etc.  I had to go to one of those job seekers interviews.  I was told to come early then had to wait 45 mins.  I was told to search for jobs ‘choose anything’ she said.  I searched and wrote down project worker, social worker and hairdresser keeping in mind what I was told.  When ‘interviewed’ (which usually connotes being listened to) she wrote ‘hairdresser’ on my card.  I was asked if I had any experience of hairdressing I replied I worked in a salon when I was sixteen.  She went on to offer me the opportunity to apply for a job as a trainee hairdresser.  I reminded her I had highlighted other jobs and she changed her choice to project worker.  It was at this point she changed my card adding the category hairdresser – great lengths.  She seemed annoyed.  I started speaking to her about my career – you know work coming up – interviews etc and as I was going into detail she was looking at me.  A short while later she said to me I DID NOT HEAR WHAT YOU SAID I WAS MESMERISED I WAS LOOKING AT YOUR EARRINGS (see May 24th)  need I say more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
