I just read a really funny post on my Dominican Diaspora site that I wanted to share.
I think I found it funny but scary because that would be me…… standing politely in a line that doesn’t exist trying to shop in Dominica when everyone around me is being served!
It brought back a vision of me in the Post Office when I was over there in the 70s trying to collect post. Try being shy, 14 and having to speak up to claim a package!
