I done it! I sent off a report to the institution. Six pages.  It had to be done, time after time people unlawfully use their roles to bully and dis-empower their clients whilst professing to work to support and empower people andcommunities.  As a Community Development Consultant my role is to challenge inequalities and promote inclusion through anti-oppressive practice.  But too often when personally faced with oppression I turn the other cheek.  Not anymore.  It was cathartic writing down the issues the challenge however, is sticking to the facts and to the point not making it personal.  It is done and now I wait.  My task now is to look after myself, make sure that I make sure I feel good.  As for today admin then an evening walk on the local green. Writing can be so powerful today completing the report, completing my personal administration and then writing my journal.  I think I’ll read some poetry.
