There are so many things I want to share with you – this is all so new to me I have had so many experiences I want to write about – I want people to learn what it means to be a black woman, mother, daughter, sister, friend, neighbour, student.  I want you to know what it means to be happy, sad, funny, frustrated, angry, tearful, struggling, lonely, relaxed, charming, witty, loved, satisfied.

I too want to know about you – what do you do?  What made you laugh, cry, scream, cheer today?

Hey thanks Diane for your birthday wishes – much appreciated – reading this page really made me smile – just what I needed.  I decided to go to work on my birthday and had a horrendous day.  I made a decision –  in future I will not be some kind of hero and go to work I will stay at home.  I decided to postpone my birthday and had it the following day instead – so yep I had a good day and an enjoyable birthday.   Roll on new year.
