50 things to do in 2010

February3

I have decided to write out 50 things to do in 2010. Actually it was Lauretta’s idea but now she has a man she is showing off by writing a list of “50 things to do as a couple in 2010″ – whatever :D

So I won’t bore you with the whole 50 but here’s ten

1. Swim naked in the Caribbean sea

2. Go and see Roachford live in concert (booked for end march!)

3. Go to Dominica (booked for July!)

7. Lose 70 lbs minimum – a work in progress!

8. Speak at 10 events on running an internet business (none booked so far)

9.  Sing out loud on a crowded train (I’ll leave that one till 30 Dece 2010 probably)

10. Get off my computer before 9pm for at least 6 months of the year (hopefully the summer will help me achieve that one!)

So that’s ten of my 50 – others include asking a man out on a date, exercising every day for a whole month (miracle if I manage that one), bring in the BIGGEST contract I have ever won so far until now and get myself a proper office.

Have you decided to do anything special for 2010?

A little plug for work

December17

My freelance work online includes being Membership Manager  at Blog Success – helping people develop and run successful blogs. So if any of the diary readers would like to run their own blog and develop an income doing it check out some great videos on a method called 10 10 30 -

10 blogs, 10 niches, $30 a day – bringing in an income of $9k a month.

It will take a while to get them up to that level but like I always say – time is going to keep moving anyway so why not spend it developing something that could make a difference in your life.

So thats the commerical plug from me . Find out more at http://www.blogsuccess.com/diane

We need more successful black bloggers!

I have loads of free information about how to set one up but you still need to learn the tricks/techniques to make it successful.

You can find a page on how to start a blog here

laughter, music and dancing – the 3 things that provide instant release from misery

March30

There are 3 things that will guarantee to lift my spirits whether I do one or all three of them. They are laughter, music and dancing. Today I was on youtube listening to music videos and singing at the top of my voice (all 3 children came in at different times to see what was wrong with me!) and one of the classic 80s bands for me to enjoy is Brand New Heavies.

Of course dancing goes with music so I get two out of the three right there!

I am in the middle of writing “mastering misery” and am not sure if it will be an article, blog post or turn into a short ebook but what it will do is show how easy it is for all of us to get hold of our vex-ness and turn it into something far more uplifting because you know we do vex very well :)
